From above, then inside
The drone shows where the home is: Ravello perched above the coast, the lemon groves, the sea. Then we walk down through the alleys, as a guest would, all the way to the door.
Ravello Comfort is a luxury home overlooking the Amalfi Coast. We shot the video that tells its story from morning to night, then built everything else around it: the website with direct bookings, calendars that sync on their own with Airbnb, Booking and VRBO, and a simple panel for the owner.
On the Amalfi Coast there are plenty of beautiful homes, and online they all look alike: the same wide-angle photos, the same view, the same copy. Guests booking from far away choose the one they can picture themselves in, before they even leave.
Then there was the part guests don't see. Bookings came from several platforms and from the website, and the calendars didn't talk to each other: a date taken on Airbnb could still show as available on the website. The risk was double bookings, and direct requests were a hassle to manage.
Not a list of rooms, but a short film: a couple arrives in Ravello and spends a day in the home. Viewers don't see an apartment, they see themselves on vacation.
It opens from above, with the drone over the terraces and the coast. Then the alleys, the door opening, the curtains drawn back on the view. It closes with sunset on the balcony and the Amalfi Coast lit up at night.

No static catalog shots: the camera follows the couple as they walk in, open the curtains, step out to the view. Each room is revealed with a gesture, and the view comes as a surprise.

Breakfast on majolica tiles, the garden under the pergola, a lemon picked from the tree, the sun deck in the sunshine. These are the details guests remember and that make them choose this very home.

We waited for the right light: an aperitivo at sunset on the balcony, the blue hour, the coast lighting up. Filming at different times of day takes time, but it's what separates a professional video from an ordinary one.
The same video works in several places: it opens the website, with a button to turn on the sound, it's on YouTube, and its frames become real photos of the home, like the ones below.

The video plays on its own when the website opens, with a button for sound. We slimmed it down from 58 to 18 MB, in a version made for the website's screen, so the home page loads right away even on a phone instead of staying blank.
A "Video Tour" page with a full 360° walkthrough of the apartment, in the menu next to the gallery: anyone undecided can see every corner before booking.
The website calendar and those on AvaiBook, Airbnb, Booking and VRBO sync on their own every hour, in both directions. We also fixed the "loop" that sent the same dates back and forth, and every hour a check removes canceled bookings.
Direct requests land in a simple panel, with no WordPress password: the owner approves or declines with one tap. The color-coded calendar marks confirmed dates, pending ones and those taken on the platforms, and flags overlaps in red.
The website also speaks to international guests, who are a huge share of visitors on the Amalfi Coast, with a gallery, video tour and booking request.

A home that doesn't get lost among the others online, because it has a video that makes people want it, and a system that works on its own behind the scenes. Guests see the vacation, the owner sees the requests and the calendars stay in order.
